SK bioscience, a global innovative vaccine and biotech company committed to promoting human health from prevention to cure, has announced a research collaboration agreement with the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity. This collaboration aims to develop a next-generation influenza vaccine through various stages of research, including basic research and industrial trend analysis.

 

The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity is a renowned biomedical research institute located in Australia. It houses researchers from the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne, as well as one of five WHO Collaborating Centres for Reference and Research Influenza (WHOCCRRI) in the world.

 

The signing ceremony for this collaboration was attended by key representatives from both organizations, including Professor Sharon Lew
