Microbot Medical Successfully Completes an Extensive Pre-Clinical Study Performed in the US
Microbot Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: MBOT) announced the successful completion of an extended pre-clinical study conducted by global key opinion leaders ("KOLs") and executives from the medical industry. The study took place over two days at a research lab in New York.
A team of interventional radiologists utilized Microbot's LIBERTY® Robotic Surgical System during the study, performing multiple catheterizations with a 100% success rate in reaching the intended vascular targets. The system's remote operation capabilities were also utilized without any complications observed on-site.
This was the first study where participants from leading organizations in the medical industry were allowed to join. Real-time user feedback during the study was positive, highlighting the intuitiveness, ease of use, and value added by the ability to control procedures remotely using the LIBERTY Robotic Surgical System's remote controller.
